Corrado R. Mallia is a Toronto based muralist and illustrator who specializes in a dynamic, realistic style of painting. Having attended and graduated in graphic design at George Brown College of Applied Arts, his background in art is extensive and has been painting professionally for many years.

His first professional job started back in 1996, when a Toronto movie theater approached him to develop a concept to promote a Hollywood blockbuster dinosaur movie sequel. The theater wanted the mural immediately, so Corrado got to work right away, painting all through the night after the concept materialized. The result was well worth the effort, and that launched his career in mural painting.

Painting murals for many restaurants, corporate establishments, schools and residences he has depicted a wide variety of subject matter in his work. From Lavish jungles, underwater odysseys, sunset beach paradises, sci-fi and fantasy themes and Hollywood celebrity and Rock star portraits, Corrado is a versatile artist capable of illustrating almost anything you can imagine. He can work from photographs, or can make custom designed artwork His work has been featured in Art Scene International, AB Mag, Airbrush Action Magazine, The Toronto Star, Whatever Vaughan, and The Economist and Sun.

All murals are painted with non-toxic, waterproof, premium quality exterior latex paint. A water-based, weather resistant clear-coat is an available option for even greater protection. Prices are reasonable and all work is of the highest quality.
